With over a thousand visitors using the furniture daily, frame load-bearing standards far exceed those for residential products. The design had to achieve a three-way balance: commercial-grade load-bearing strength, lightweight construction for easy on-site repositioning by property management, and total procurement cost.
The resort’s overall landscape design demanded furniture with a warm wood-grain texture. However, natural solid wood, when placed outdoors long-term, is prone to cracking and mold — incurring significant annual refinishing and maintenance costs. The project urgently needed a substitute material solution that could deliver both the visual effect of real wood grain and maintenance-free performance.
The project was divided into three core commercial zones: open-air leisure area, dining area, and semi-open tent lounge area. Each zone has fundamentally different commercial objectives: the dining area prioritizes high table turnover and upright-posture support; the leisure and tent zones prioritize extended dwell time and secondary consumption conversion. The project abandoned the low-efficiency approach of “one furniture range applied across the entire site.” Instead, three entirely distinct furniture series were independently developed and selected for the three zones, with differentiated ergonomic and material configurations directly serving the resort’s commercial operating efficiency.

Surface Treatment: Wood-Grain Heat Transfer Technology
Base Process: Chrome-free pre-treatment + outdoor polyester powder electrostatic spray coating (80–100 μm coating thickness).
Performance Advantages: Grain texture is molecularly bonded to the substrate for superior UV and corrosion resistance. Finished products do not crack or develop mold; routine cleaning requires only a wipe-down with water.
